Below is the website address of the Lindum Hotel in Blackpool, UK. It is run by Paul Rollings, brother in law to one of our Founder Old Boys, namely Ian Giles, affectionately known as Iggy.
This is the hotel at which we would like to stay and hold our UK REUNION in July 2004. The dates of our function are Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July 2004. Check-in time is for Saturday 12.00hrs and Check-out time is morning of Sunday around 10.00hrs. However, some of us may decide to stay over for Sunday Lunch as the Lindum Hotel are well known, far and wide, for their Sunday cuisine. The idea is for you to visit the website, make a note of their details and then either phone them, fax them or E-mail them and make a booking to reserve your room.

Check with them when making your bookings.
This is a family weekend away so they are more than welcome! Please refer to the rates below which have been Cut & Pasted from the extract of their E-mail to me earlier today, being Sunday. Their letter opens: "Dear Peter, sorry for the delay. Another reason is that the hotel may have other functions on the go and we don't want any mix-up, so do ensure that the Reception and Staff know you are checking in as an "Old Saint".
The website address is: http://www.lindumhotel.co.uk/lindum/site/contact.html Once you have made your booking, to attend the St Stephen's College Old Boys Reunion, please E-mail me and let me know that you have confirmed your seat at the Reunion. My E-mail address is, as you should all well know, by now; email@example.com The suggested format of the meeting will be: Saturday. 12.00hrs - Check-in at hotel 13.00hrs - Pub Lunch for the peckish 13.30hrs - Fellowship in the lounge, swap stories, pictures, take digital snaps, group snaps, reunite with old friends and acquaintances, tell a yarn or two over a 'pint of bitter' or three. 19.00hrs - Grace and Saturday Dinner (formal)in Full Old Boys Regalia or college ties. 24.00hrs - Bush Hike to the old Fig Tree. Sunday. 06.00hrs - Cross country jog or brisk walk to aid the circulation 08.30hrs - Breakfast until 10.00hrs 10.00hrs - Check-out from hotel 10.30hrs - Morning Tea 11.00hrs - Farewells. 12.00hrs - Lunch optional. If there is anything we have left out, get back to me and we can sort something out.
A dance at this stage seems out - there is no resident band. I do know that if one Books Air Tickets early say with Ryan Air or Easy Jet, you can still get very reasonable rates, so don't rule out the possibility of a "Day Trip". My cousin recently flew from Esher to Ayr for GBP 1.99 and back for GBP 2.99. That's not bad hey? Try a Day Trip if you are going to be on holiday, it'll be worth it, especially by Air! Good Luck, hope all goes smoothly! See you there. Speedy. PS. Read this carefully, there is more detailed info written into it than the original invite.
